Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms describe use of the Fast Estimating LLC website and estimate-request tools. A written proposal or service agreement for a specific project controls if it conflicts with these general terms.

1. Service description

Fast Estimating LLC provides construction estimating and quantity takeoff services based on project drawings and information supplied by the client. It does not perform physical construction or installation work. Estimates are based on the supplied documents, agreed scope, recorded assumptions, and available cost inputs; they are not a guarantee of actual construction costs.

2. Estimate requests, fees, and payment

Submitting an estimate request does not create a charge or contract. Scope, fee, deliverables, payment terms, and delivery timing are confirmed in writing before work begins. Online card payment is not currently enabled in the client portal; no payment is processed by this request form.

3. Scope and revisions

The written scope controls which drawings, trades, quantities, and deliverables are included. New drawings, addenda, changed scope, or revisions may require additional review and a separate written fee or schedule update.

4. Client responsibilities

You confirm that you own or have permission to share the drawings and other files you upload. You are responsible for identifying applicable addenda, project requirements, and scope changes that may affect the estimate.

5. Deliverables and downloads

Excel, PDF, marked-up plans, and other files appear in the client portal only after they are actually uploaded to your project record. Files are provided for the project and purpose described in the approved scope.

6. File handling

Uploaded drawings are encrypted before storage. The Blob provider ACL is public, so objects contain ciphertext. An authenticated route checks project permissions before issuing a short-lived download URL and per-file key; the browser verifies and decrypts the file. See the Privacy Policy for details.
